PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

  1. To make our graduates capable of emphasizing on high degree of ethics and standards while executing multidisciplinary engineering projects as well as consideration of economic , environmental and social issues while executing such projects
  2. To make our engineering graduates capable of managing their own projects based on existing as well as new emerging technologies in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  3. .To prepare competent engineers suitable for industrial environment in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering like design, application, installation, manufacturing, operation & maintenance.
  4. To enable the students to acquire skills of innovation in design, simulation, development & testing, hardware and software components for offering solutions to real life problems related to Electronics & Communication Engineering using latest tools and techniques.
  5. To inculcate strong fundamental knowledge among students to pursue higher education.
  6. To enhance R & D skills of the students in the latest trends of Electronics & Communication Engineering like Robotics, MEMS, Automation, and Wireless Communication etc. and motivate them to continue their professional growth in leading industries.

Program Outcomes

  1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to applications and system design related to appropriate discipline.
  2. To identify, formulate and solve complex problems of Electronics & communication Engineering by using research based knowledge and standard processes including design of experiments, analysis & interpretation of data and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
  3. To apply Engineering & management principles on their own/team projects in multidisciplinary environment.
  4. Graduates will be able to analyze design & functioning of digital & analog systems as per the needs and specifications of the industry and society.
  5. An ability to simulate, verify & test different Electronics & communication system modules using latest hardware and software tools.
  6. To understand the impact of professional engineering solutions to demonstrate the needs for social and environmental contents for sustainable development.
  7. An understanding of professional responsibilities by applying reasoning and knowledge to assess legal, contemporary and cultural issues, as well as the responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practices with high degree of ethics.
  8. To engage in life- long learning by adapting to rapidly changing technologies of Electronics engineering & its associated areas.
  9. To communicate effectively with engineering community and society at large through technical report writing, design documentation, project reports and effective presentations.
